Circles in the Sky features twelve of my tracks: Beyond the Horizon, Bursting with Colours, Circles in the Sky, Ocean Ripples, Attention to Detail, The Rain Falls, Sticks and Stones, Heart Spring, Edge of the World, Endless Beauty, Making Hay and Downstream. Click here for licensing information.
Many of these tracks were written during the first COVID-19 Lockdown from March to June 2020. I was inspired initally from artists such as London Grammar that make use of muted yet clean guitar. Beyond the Horizon was the first of the tracks to be written. Ocean Ripples was written from a balcony of a house in Mevagissey that overlooked the coastline on a beautiful summer's evening. I was initially inspired by the view of the harbour and the coastine but as they day progressed, the rhythmic piano was inspired from the sounds of playing children and laughter. These tracks have had success overseas in countries such as Norway and Japan (Beyond the Horizon and Bursting with Colours), Poland (Making Hay and Beyond the Horizon) as well as success in the UK, with tracks such as Attention to Detail being featured in programs such as "George Clarke's Flipping Fast" and Downstream and Ocean Ripplesin BBC's "My Kind of Town".
